Philosophy of Care

Surgery is Personal

Dr Mukama's approach is based on careful listening, respectful communication and realistic planning.

Patients are encouraged to ask questions, understand the reason for each recommendation and consider the expected recovery process before making decisions. Treatment options are discussed in the context of the patient's health, goals and clinical findings.

The aim is to provide professional, patient-centred surgical care that considers both function and appearance, while recognising that every patient and every recovery journey is different.
